James attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to study accounting, following in the footsteps of his father, who is also a CPA. After graduating with his bachelor's degree, he enjoyed taxes and San Luis Obispo so much that he decided to stay for another year and earn his master's in taxation. He began his career at CohnReznick, where he earned his CPA, and it was there that James discovered his passion for working with real estate.
James thrives on solving the puzzle of tax-efficient real estate transactions and helping families transition wealth across generations. His clients appreciate his combination of technical expertise and personal dedication. Beyond work, James enjoys traveling, golfing, and making memories with his wife and newborn daughter, Mia. An avid sports fan, you’ll often find him cheering on the Dodgers or LAFC during his downtime.
